There is a warning when attempting to install the extension for Visual Studio 2017 that says the extension is incompatible. If the warning is legitimate, what is the issue? If it actually works fine, how can we prevent the message from appearing?

It seems to work fine, just download the package manually and skip the version warning during installation. The extension.vsixmanifest should be updated, in that file the InstallationTarget can be modified.

It doesn't appear in the Visual Studio Market place when searching with VS 2017
