Amuzil is the name of our organisation of developers. We, primarily voluntarily, develop open-source software projects. We are a small team of developers, but our projects are ambitious and used by thousands of people around the world.
We are currently working or have worked on the following projects:
- Magus: A library for creating Minecraft mods with complex skill trees and immersive new dimensions, written in Kotlin.
- Avatar: A Minecraft mod adding bending and the world from the "Avatar: The Last Airbender" franchise, powered by Magus.
- Docs: The documentation for all of our projects, written in Markdown using MkDocs.
- LWST: The Library of Wan-Shi Tong, our Discord bot for managing our Discord community, using JDA and Kotlin.
We believe that open source is the future and that everyone should be able to contribute to the projects they use. By open-sourcing our projects, we hope to achieve the following:
- Higher quality: By open-sourcing our projects, everyone can look at the code and spot bugs and other issues, or find ways to improve the code. We hope that this will lead to higher-quality projects.
- More contributors: By open-sourcing our projects, we hope to attract more contributors. Contributors can help us work on the projects, which will lead to more features and more frequent updates.
- Reduced workload: By open-sourcing our projects, we hope to reduce the workload of the primary developers. This will allow us to work on more projects and focus on what is most important.
- Open-source: One of the core pillars of our community is open-source. We believe that everyone should be able to contribute to the projects they use so that they can improve and learn from them.
- Community: We want to build a community around our projects, and open-sourcing them is a great way to do that. It gives active contributors a sense of ownership, and it gives people a reason and way to contribute, even those without technical knowledge or skills, as they can help with documentation, translations, and more.

Contributions are what make the open-source community such an amazing place to learn, inspire, and create. Any contributions you make are greatly appreciated.
