Running MCR

Once you have compiled your master excel file and created your template, you are ready to run MCR!

Open the latest version of MCR. Upload your template. Upload your master excel file. Chose your source location file for where you would like your individualized reports to be saved. Chose your file output type (either ppt or pdf). Run MCR. A progress indicator bar will pop up, relaying the compilation progress. Depending on the length of the template and amount of individualized data, a single report can take between a few seconds to over a minute for compilation. Compiling many reports that are long with larger amounts of individualized data can take a while and may depend on a computer’s processing speed (for example, our 78 reports of 19 pages with 18 unique placeholders took 20-30 minutes to complete). After your reports have been compiled, you can check the “error” sheet to discover if you had any image files that could not be found and inserted into your individualized reports.
