These are some QOL improvements for Omarchy that might aid you in your quest to switch to Omarchy.

## Essential
Fix Sleep/Lock:
```bash
omarchy plugin add https://github.com/dsnsgithub/omarchy-lock-fix
omarchy restart shell
```

## Worth It

### Remove Chrome Managed Policies
Install Google Chrome (Omarchy Menu, Install > Browser), delete Chromium (Omarchy Menu, Remove > Browser).
Then clean out any managed policies (creates weird Chrome themes, locks secure DNS for some reason)
```bash
sudo rm -rf /etc/opt/chrome/policies/managed
sudo rm -rf /etc/opt/chrome/policies/recommended
```

### Change Chrome Font (to make it look good on Linux)
Add `inter-font` (Omarchy menu, Install > Package)

```bash
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface font-name "Inter 10"
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface monospace-font-name "JetBrainsMono Nerd Font 11"
pkill -f chrome
```

## Optional

### Disable Mouse Acceleration
`nvim ~/.config/hypr/input.lua`

Uncomment Line 26.

```
26 │ accel_profile = "flat",
```

### Setup Windows Hello Facial Recognition (Howdy)
Install [Howdy](https://github.com/boltgolt/howdy) or [howdy-next](https://codeberg.org/nathawat/howdy-next)

Using Howdy to Unlock Computer: `sudo nvim /etc/pam.d/omarchy-lock-password`

Add
```
auth sufficient pam_howdy.so
```
on the line after `#%PAM-1.0`

Using Howdy for sudo: `sudo nvim /etc/pam.d/sudo`

Add
```
auth sufficient pam_howdy.so workaround=native
```
on the line after `#%PAM-1.0`

### Kirby Theme

```bash
omarchy-theme-install https://github.com/dsnsgithub/omarchy-kirby-theme
```
If the Menu Bar is not transparent, toggle Transparency under Omarchy Menu, Style > Menu Bar > Transparency.
Right click the time in the Menu Bar until it matches the one shown in the picture or the one you prefer.
