Vocabularies developed and used in projects at the EPFL DHLAB. Work is on-going.
-
the Core Data Model Ontology describes core elements which could/should be used in almost all information extraction projects dealing with text material.
-
the Common Data Model Ontology describes common elements across different projects (e.g. generic entity types).
-
the Archive Metadata Model Ontology is a temporary vocabulary which focuses on the description of archival information.
-
the Garzoni Data Model Ontology encodes the elements necessary to represent data from the Garzoni project (see dhlab page or the project blog).
Vocabularies are kept simple and will be/are used in conjonction with other established vocabularies (e.g. the Knowledge store core data model, the Simple Event Model, CIDOC-CRM, or Records in Context) when representing data.
Documentation and online publication is supported by the Widoco wizard.
