2. Returning immutable responses to subscribers
3. Caching responses
4. Caching responses and returning immutable data to subscribers
5. Throttling requests to the server
6. Making requests on a timed interval
7. Extracting JSON from responses before notifying subscribers
8. Consistent error handling
