goodBooks

goodBooks is a straightforward single page application (SPA) that enables you to buy, rate, and comment on all of the books that are offered for sale. Additionally, you can make a list of your favourite books or view the history of all the books you've bought.

Technologies used

goodBooks works with a variety of open source initiatives, including :

  • Angular - a platform for development that is geared toward developer efficiency, speed, and testability with the goal of making web development feel straightforward. Angular-built apps can be launched on computers, mobile devices, and tablets as websites and native applications.
  • JSONWebToken - JSON Web Token (JWT) is an open standard (RFC 7519) that defines a compact and self-contained way for securely transmitting information between parties as a JSON object.
  • NodeJS - Node.js is a back-end JavaScript runtime environment, runs on the V8 JavaScript Engine, and executes JavaScript code outside a web browser.
  • ExpressJS - Fast, unopinionated, minimalist web framework for NodeJS
  • Mongoose - Mongoose is a Node. js-based Object Data Modeling (ODM) library for MongoDB.
  • MongoDB - a source-available cross-platform document-oriented database program. Classified as a NoSQL database program, MongoDB uses JSON-like documents with optional schemas.
  • Passport - Passport is authentication middleware for Node.js. Extremely flexible and modular, Passport can be unobtrusively dropped in to any Express-based web application.
  • Postman - Used Postman for Api testing.
