Tested with Firefox OS 1.3 and 2.0.

Backup your entire profile using backup_restore_profile.py. The profile includes your WhatsApp messages.
If your device has a Micro SD card inserted, then that may contain a directory openwapp. If present, create a copy. It contains multimedia data such as images.
