To-Do list of various possible enhancements:

General

  • continue improving user documentation
  • increase test suite coverage
  • improve integration with other STScI data analysis tools
  • enhancements in Poppy library, eg antialiased apertures

JWST

  • Integrate models for time-dependent OPDs based on work by Van Gorkom. See on STScI central store in tel/share/Thermal_Drift/Ball. Work in progress by @kjbrooks

  • Very large scale PSFs (5+ arcmin), as requested by NIRCam team. Will probably need special handling.

    • OTE OPD models at very high resolution?

  • Better integrate LOM for aberrated PSFs throughout OTE commissioning. Work in progress by @mperrin

  • Docs improvements, including JDox.

  • Improved handling of detector pixel MTF explicitly, like TinyTim

  • Assess possible need for Fresnel propagation model for tertiary mirror

WFIRST

  • Docs improvements
