Trending

Understand which sources of traffic are responsible for driving the greatest quantity of page views, purchases or any other success event configured within SiteCatalyst. With trended traffic source data you can understand exactly when an initiative works and who to thank for it.

Quality

Go beyond understanding the “quantity” of traffic and use multiple metrics to understand the quality as well. In the report below, the size of each bubble represents the total number of visits from that source, the x-axis represents page views / visit and the y-axis represents bounce rate.

In one very quick view you can see which sources matter (largest bubble), what needs work (large bubble, low PV/V, high bounce rate) and what sources have untapped potential (small bubble, high PV/V and low bounce rate).

Of course feel free to customize what “potential” means to your organization with multiple success events (revenue, repeat visits, etc).

Drilldown

Drill deeper than ever before when using multiple variables. In the example below, the traffic organizer has been configured to have a referring site group for all Social Media / Network sites. Once configured you can understand both the macro and micro factors that are driving success.
