💡 Installation

Prerequisites

Before getting started, ensure you have the following installed:

  • Node.js and npm (Node Package Manager)
  • MongoDB (for local database setup)

Getting Started

  1. Clone the Repository

    First, clone the repository to your local machine:

    git clone https://github.com/yourusername/spotify-dashboard.git
  2. Navigate to the Project Directory

    Change into the project directory:

    cd spotify-dashboard
  3. Install Dependencies

    Install the required dependencies:

    npm install
  4. Configure Environment Variables

    Create a .env file in the root directory with your Spotify API credentials. Add the following content:

    SPOTIFY_CLIENT_ID=your-client-id
    SPOTIFY_CLIENT_SECRET=your-client-secret
  5. Start the Application

    Run the application using the following command:

    npm start

    The application should now be running on http://localhost:3000.
