Hello there!

I have been building software projects since connecting to the Internet was an expensive ritual accompanied by mystic sounds for a mere 0.007 MB/s. What a journey it has been since the ’90s!

Before Git existed, I worked as a software developer for a competitive intelligence startup in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Over the last 15 years, I have lived in Berlin, Lisbon, Athens, and Zurich, working as an engineer, tech lead, DevOps specialist, and educator, supporting journalists, researchers, designers, and CEOs.

Most of my open-source projects have focused on civic data scraping for public transparency, cultural media archives, natural language processing, crypto-economic experiments, and data visualization.
