This long awaited release adds support for Entities (REST endpoints now, OData endpoints shortly), plus some infrastructure (devcontainer setup for developers).
The development process has changed to a feature branch / pull request model.
Importantly, new ODK Central server versions (e.g. 2024.2.0) are supported to determine whether an ODK Central API endpoint is supported for the given server version.
