Hi, I'm Daniel, a software developer with a background in environmental sciences and landscape ecology.

I am one of the maintainers of Gajim, a chat application for the XMPP protocol.

I also maintain the xmpp.org website, including its software section

On top of that, I am a member of the XMPP Providers team, where I built the providers.xmpp.net website and worked on automated provider data processing.

Giving people the ability to communicate freely and in a decentralized way sounds like a good idea to me. But there have to be good XMPP chat clients in order to be able to compete with proprietary chat clients. Your donation will allow me to further support the projects I am working on.
