This project deals with the study and implementation of gesture recognition techniques to perform various computer operations using specific hand gestures. The focus is laid entirely on development of four main applications including media control, ppt control, mouse-pointer control and taking a snapshot.

This helps users control the audio output (volume) of the device using the hand gestures. By pinching in and out at the camera, volume can be increased and decreased respectively.
