Description

Prototype of an interactive gaming experience for 15-18 year old girls, incorporating Barrier Breakers’ soft skills development process (BBM®) within a fun, inspirational game environment in which girls are encouraged to discover and follow their own path in life, and where they can receive accreditation for the soft skills they develop during the game.

Tech

  • Node.js + Express
  • Front end SASS/HTML5 and a frontend framework perhaps Bootstrap for the grid
  • Gulp or Grunt for frontend build
  • JavaScript for game interaction.
  • Github
  • Canvas for the game and drawing objects.
  • Slack for group chats/standups etc

  • Lili - Front End, Back End

Setup

Tools

  1. Terminal: iTerm2 (MacOSX), Terminator (Linux) or use your preffered one.
  2. Text Editor: Sublime Text or you preffered one.

Dev Enviroment Setup

  1. Install Git
  2. Clone the repo: git clone git@github.com:womenhackfornonprofits/barrierbreakers.git
