Bad news GTK3 themes is not very stable nowadays. Good news you can add you own customization and fixes with css. Just edit scripts/css/themefix.css to your taste. If you don't want mess with git, make a copy named user_themefix.css in the same directory, configuration program will use this one.

Also you can change preview icon size in configuration file.
