  • What is the status of Test the JSON format of the messages sent by the WebServerSender?
    • Pending, wait until Alessandro, checks changes of new structure of IASValue
  • Did you get and try ALMA VPN?
    • Yes but it did not work. If we install the VPN client suggested by Alma (in the email we received) we have problems, the client does not work on our laptops. If we just try to connect using our previous Cisco VPN installation (which works for ESO VPN) it automatically (and without asking permissions) installs the Alma VPN Client. Which, as stated before, does not work.
  • Status of issue #63
    • It is work on progress together with #31 (we need more timestamps so it makes sense to fix both issues at once); Issue #31 is already fixed in plugin, BasicTypes and the Converter. My hope is to have both tickets fixed by the end of the week
  • How should Webserver implement validity calculation according to changes introduced by issue #63?
    • Sebastian and I discussed about this at the last meeting. The web server assumes that the value received is actual unless it id not receive the refresh value (refreshValue+delta). This is the global refresh value, not the refresh rate of a IASValue that will be removed in the scope of #63. Before the refresh rate expires, the validity received together with the IASValueis the validity to use. After the refreshRate+delta such validity must be overridden (UNRELIABLE). The algorithm is actually simpler now.
    • Inria will update the explanation of Webserver/Display validity calculation in the Validity wiki page
